Ciara and Rihanna Beef on Twitter, Supposedly Made UP

BEEF

Typically, rappers are the ones who engage in heated public beefs, but last week singers Ciara and Rihanna went toe-to-toe on Twitter, trading disses and threats that were nearly as catty and hard core as any emcee with a criminal rap sheet.

The trouble all started when
Ciara made a visit to the E!’s "Fashion Police" with Joan Rivers and explained that she and Rihanna had recently had an unpleasant encounter at a party.

“I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn’t the nicest,” said Rihanna. “I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion, and it’s crazy because I’ve run into her before, but this time wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”

Apparently,
Rihanna didn’t fancy Ciara’s comment and took to Twitter and slammed her.

“My bad ci. Did I 4get to tip u? #Howrudeofme,” tweeted Rihanna.

In a rather convincing tone, Ciara responded with a plain and simple threat. “Trust me Rhianna you don’t want to see me on or off stage,” tweeted Ciara.

Seemingly unfazed, Rihanna questioned Ciara’s “gangsta” threat and took a shot at her less than vibrant career

Sacramento Stand Up

It's being called the Wal-Mart of weed: a 10,000-square-foot Sacramento gardening emporium opens Saturday with how-to experts and merchandise to help medical marijuana patients grow pot.
The cavernous weGrow hydroponics store is enthusiastically marketing itself as a retail outlet is the first national franchise for a company that bills itself as a supply and training destination for legal pot growers. In coming months, weGrow stores will open in Arizona, Colorado, New Jersey and Oregon.
The Sacramento Bee says the enterprise started in Oakland last year as a warehouse store called iGrow.
Pot isn't sold or grown at the store.
In the past, hydroponics outlets have avoided any mention of marijuana because pot cultivation is illegal under federal law. But hydroponics stores have exploded as states approve medical marijuana use.

Patricia Marilyn Spottedcrow Gets 10 Years In Prison For $31 Of Marijuana

Patricia Marilyn Spottedcrow never thought selling marijuana would land her in jail for over a decade.
But Spottedcrow, 25, now faces that reality, which includes being separated from her four children and husband, according to News Ok. She'll also have to end her work in nursing homes.
10 Years In Jail For Pot
Was the bud worth it?
In December 2009, Delita Starr, the 50-year-old grandmother of Spottedcrow's children sold a "dime bag" to an informant in her home. She asked her 9-year-old grandson for dollar bills to make change for an $11 sale.
When the same informant came back two weeks later to buy $20 of marijuana from Spottedcrow and Starr's pot dealing days ended, according to Tulsa World.
Starr and Spottedcrow were arrested for distribution, but Spottedcrow faced the additional charge of possession of a dangerous substance in the presence of a minor since her children were there.
From NewsOk:
"It just seemed like easy money," said Spottedcrow, who says she is not a drug user but has smoked marijuana. "I thought we could get some extra money. I've lost everything because of it."
The women were each offered plea deals of two years in prison. But because neither had prior convictions and the drug amounts were low, they gambled and entered a guilty plea before a judge with no prior sentencing agreement.
Spottedcrow was sentenced to 10 years in prison for distribution of marijuana, and 2 years for possession, running concurrently, according to Tulsa World. Starr received a 30-year suspended sentence, with five years of drug and alcohol assessments.
Starr was fined $8,600 and Spottedcrow $2,740 as well.

NBA ALL-STAR CELEBRITY GAME

Common and Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber showed off his skills on the court, scoring eight points at the 2011 BBVA NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday (Feb. 18). While his team didn’t win (54-49), the teen sensation was voted MVP by his fans. Magic Johnson coached Biebs along with teammates Trey Songz and Romeo Miller as they played against Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and his East team including Common and Nick Cannon. Despite their loss, Bieber still earned praise from his opponents. “He played pretty well,” said Pippen, “but he has an ugly shot.”

Biggest winners and losers at the All-Star

2011 RECAP ON ALLSTAR WEEKEND

Musician Lenny Kravitz (R) returns a loo
The All-Star game is an exhibition first and foremost, and when players are trying harder to entertain the crowd than they are to play good basketball, it’s hard to put too much stock into the results. Still, this year’s All-Star game was one of the most entertaining and competitive games in years, and a few players did put on virtuoso performances while others struggled. Without further ado, let’s take a look at who had the best and worst All-Star Game:
Winner: Kobe Bryant
On Wednesday night, Kobe Bryant shot 8-24 and committed 7 turnovers in a loss to one of the worst NBA teams in decades. On Sunday night, a rested, motivated Bryant torched the best players in the Eastern Conference for 37 points, and was probably the player most responsible for making the game unusually competitive.
Kobe wasn’t interested in trying to pull of behind-the-back passes, intricate Alley-oops, left-handed threes, or any of the other shenanigans that usually take place in the All-Star game; he was taking Dwyane Wade to the post, getting back on defense, and throwing down some of the most vicious dunks he’s had in years.
Bryant was, by his own admission, exhausted by the time the fourth quarter came around, but still had enough in the tank to seal the game by preventing the East from pulling down a key rebound with seconds left to play. Bryant didn’t break Wilt Chamberlain’s All-Star scoring record, but he did more than enough to win his fourth All-Star MVP and elevate the level of the game as a whole.
Loser: Dwight Howard
Howard played 21 minutes on Sunday, but you’d be hard-pressed to remember any of them. Howard showed little interest in playing offense or defense, didn’t block a single shot, and half of his four field goal attempts were from beyond the arc. That’s not what  you want to see from Dwight Howard.
Winner: Kevin Durant
Durant bounced back from his embarrassing three-point contest with a vengeance. Kobe was the only player to have scored more than Durant, who looked like he was in a groove for most of the game and ultimately closed the game out by scoring seven points in the final 2:18 of play.
Losers: Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan
It’s hard to call KG and Tim Duncan “losers,” but they helped prove that the All-Star game is not the ideal environment for aging big men who make a bigger impact on defense than they do on offense. KG does get some points for being the loudest cheerleader on either bench, even when he was cheering on LeBron James.
Winner: Amar’e Stoudemire and Blake Griffin
The All-Star game WAS made for big men like Stoudemire and Griffin. Griffin dunked all over the court, managed to record five assists, and got the crowd chanting for him in fourth quarter, while Amar’e racked up 29 points with an efficient mix of dunks, jumpers, and drives to the basket.

Losers: Deron Williams and Carmelo Anthony
New York rumors have been circling Carmelo and, to a lesser extent, Williams all weekend — both of them seemed distracted, and they combined to shoot 6-17 from the field on Sunday.
Winner: LeBron James
LeBron’s team didn’t get the win, but he recorded the second-triple double in All-Star history and made the game competitive again with a series of awe-inspiring drives to the basket. It’s hard enough to stop LeBron in a game played at a normal pace with normal defensive intensity — with the speed of the game ratcheted up and the defense a bit lax, James is impossible to stop.

Winner: Russell Westbrook
Westbrook’s line wasn’t amazing, but he had some of the most incredible plays of the night — a rim-rocking dunk in transition, a nasty crossover on Dwyane Wade that set up a step-back jumper, and an incredible scoop shot. This year’s All-Star game was one of the best in years, and the play of guys like Westbrook, Durant, and Blake Griffin is a sign that there are more great All-Star games to come when the next generation takes over.

DUNK CONTEST ALLSTAR WEEKEND 2011

blake-griffin-gi.jpgCoolest. Dunk. Ever.

Well, at least we think so. Clippers' rookie Blake Griffin won the 2011 slam dunk contest thanks to a pretty neat trick: He soared over a car and threw down a two-handed dunk. Seriously.

Griffin cleared the hood of a 2011 Kia Optima and accepted a pass from his teammate Baron Davisout of the sunroof before dunking it. If that wasn't cool enough, a gospel choir was singing "I Believe I Can Fly" at mid-court. Talk about an iconic dunk. To make the victory even sweeter, Griffin won the title in front of his hometown fans.

How did Griffin come up with the idea to leap over a car? "When they first came to me they said there were not rules," he says. "I was like, 'So I can jump over a car? Yeah? Oh, maybe I have to do it now.' I figured I could probably clear it, and Baron came up with the choir."

Lil Kim Black Friday... Mind you she is a grown AZZ lady ...

Lil Kim Black Friday...
If Lil Kim knew better she would do BETTER!

Perhaps the war between Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj will actually look like Friday the 13th.
On Valentine’s Day (February 14th), Lil’ Kim released her highly anticipated mixtape Black Friday via PayPal for $9.99, a staggering cost compared to most mixtapes being Free.99 (as in, free). The first 100,000 buyers would receive an autographed copy, as Kim tweeted the PayPal link to generate sales.
Within 28 hours (per Kim), the mixtape reached 113,000 sold. “Thanks to you guys!! #lilkimblackfridaymixtape sold 113,000 copies in 28 hours which made me the #1 seller on paypal ever =) !!! THANK U! RT,” Kim tweeted yesterday (February 15th).
Surely Nicki Minaj couldn’t let news like that fly under the radar.

“Bwaahhhhahhahahahahahahahahhahahhhaaahhhhhaaahahahahahahahhhaha!!!!!!!!!! *lifeless* *leaves on stretcher* *cant go on*,” tweeted Nicki, shortly after the news about Kim’s mixtape success reached her own Twitter feed. She then retweeted one of her fan’s cryptic tweets, “The devil is a liar.”
Nicki reached her own milestone success last week, as Pink Friday landed at the number one spot on Billboard since debuting on the charts eleven weeks prior. While Billboard has Soundscan to back up those numbers, the rumor has it that PayPal has no traceable means to record the actual number of Kim’s mixtapes sold. It’s all based on the honor system of Kimmy Blanco, who also responded to Nicki’s tweets with sizeable threats:
“#twitterbeef This is not beef. Real beef is when you get your ass whipped 20 minutes later. CHILD PLEASE!!! #lilkimblackfridaymixtape,” Kim tweeted.
She later amended that tweet with more severe repercussions. “#twitterbeef This is not beef. Real beef is when someone gets shot 5 minutes later. CHILD PLEASE!!! #toomanytwittergangstas #teamlilkim LEGO.”
Lil’ Kim’s Black Friday mixtape contains a number of shots taken at Nicki Minaj, starting with the cover – where Minaj has a severed head and dismembered body in the same outfit as her Pink Friday cover. Kim leaked a song off Black Friday, “Pissin’ On Em” (to the tune of Nicki’s “Did It On Em”) continuing the accusations that Minaj is a “Lil’ Kim clone.”
This could get ugly.

Ciara Ready to RIDE from JIVE ?!?!

In what comes as a shock to fans and fellow artists it looks like Ciara has apparently been dropped from long-term record label Jive. Things had been rumored to be rough when Ciara's manager and A&R changed in 2009 leaving the fate of her third album, Fantasy Ride, in the hands of a new team.

In the end the entire project was revamped from a three-disc concept album into a shoddily composed 12-track set which missed out on all of the wonderful collaborations which were promised. In December 2010, Ciara released "Basic Instinct, her fourth album. The collection supposedly brought fans back to the traditional Ciara sound, circa 2004. Despite receiving strong reviews from critics the album has to date racked sales of around 40k... a far cry from her previous albums. The failure of the album was put down to poor timing, lack of promotion and poor singles. The only exception was the lead single "Ride" with Ludacris, which reached top-ten on the R&B charts.

Recently, Ciara told fans that the album's highlight, "Turn It Up" (a high-paced/fast energy duet with Usher) would be the next single.  was due for radio adds on March 8, 2011. It has since been removed. Reports are now beginning to surface that Jive finally pulled the plug on Ciara. Insiders say the singer is a drain on label resources because she does not know her artistry and is unable to pin down a unique sound. One insider said that "the label would rather invest in someone like Chris Brown who is proving successful on multiple formats".

Comments by Ciara to Gerrick Kennedy of the Los Angeles Times, where said to have angered label executives, especially when the singer said she wasn't bothered about album sales but saw the future and money in touring. Industry experts say that no one will pay for a tour for an artist who doesn't en-mass, citing Christina Aguilera's cancelled Bionic Tour as the prime example (Aggie is signed to Jive's sister label RCA). Ciara and Jive executives are said to have reached mutual terms to end their partnership, effective immediately. The singer was seen at the offices of Universal Music recently, and is believed to now be negotiating a new record deal with Interscope Records which would hopefully catapult the singer back into the lime light. When asked to comment both Jive and Ciara failed to respond. She is great performer not the best singer but she still isn't getting the credit she she should be receiving because of poor marketing and promotions, so I think she just ready to RIDE !!!

Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith and Usher’s Grammy performance video

Justin Bieber ,Jaden Smith and Usher’s Grammy performance video is a hot commodity tonight following the trio’s incredible showing at this year’s show. But despite being by far the biggest artist of 2010, the Biebs left the venue with not a single trophy.
Justin Bieber

Musical blasphemy at its finest—an award’s show that doesn’t bow down to the biggest act in pop music to grace the scene in years? There is arguably more buzz for Biebs now than Justin Timberlake had when he first went solo, yet the teen sensation earned nothing more than an invitation to perform.

Nonetheless, the youngster, whose movie came in at #2 at the box office this weekend, gave a rousing performance alongside his mentor, which was dynamic and well choreographed.
Sure, I’m tired of hearing ‘Baby’ just like you, but when an artist has a big year, you are supposed to have at least enough patience to let them sweep the awards shows.
In spite of not receiving a single award, the pop superstar kept his cool, telling

“I had no clue what was going to happen; I worked really hard these past few years and you know, I’m not going to lie — I was disappointed.”
Once again proving to be nearly impossible NOT to like.  Regardless of his message, his fans are not pushovers. They are making their feelings known via Twitter. Tweets expressing disappointment in his lack of trophies are eating up a great deal of bandwidth this evening.
I think people will choose to remember the night for his killer performance, and not because he missed out on the best new artist award—but it’s still hard to swallow.

Cee- Lo F- You aka Forget You... Grammy Performance!

Congratulations to Cee- Lo last night... This was the coolest performance and a great collaboration w/Gwyneth Paltrow. The hottest part about the show was the way Cee-Lo re-invented the Fraggle rocks, Jim Henson would be proud >> Check out the show

Watch out ! Booty shots will Kill YOU>> CLAUDIA ADEROTIMI DIES AFTER BAD INJECTIONS

Philadelphia cops are searching for a transgender hip-hop singer who goes by "Black Madam" in connection with a British woman's death following a botched butt-implant procedure.

Authorities believe "Black Madam", whose real name is Padge Victoria Windslowe, 41, gave Claudia Aderotimi, 20, a back-room buttock-enhancement procedure in a Philadelphia hotel on Monday.

On Thursday, cops were seen taking boxes of evidence from Windslowe's Montgomery County apartment after Aderotimi's cousin identified the singer as the person who allegedly injected the victim with what was supposed to be silicone, the Daily Mail reported.

Detectives searched the home looking for medical supplies, including syringes, Krazy Glue or silicone other items that could link Windslowe to the crime, according to the police affidavit.

Authorities said on Friday night that nearly 40 items were removed from the apartment, including cell phones, identification cards, credit cards, syringes and silicone
.

Claudia Aderotimi complained of chest pains and shortness of breath sometime after she underwent a backroom buttock enhancement procedure at a hotel room in Philadelphia on Monday. She later died. (Twitter)
Windslowe's Facebook page describes her as a "classically trained musician" who was also "the head of a lucrative 'adult services company.'"
Aderotimi, an aspiring hip-hop vixen, traveled from London to Philadelphia for the procedure. She thought a bigger booty would boost her chances of stardom.
She and another woman paid more than $1,500 to receive injections on Monday to make their rear ends curvier.  Aderotimi was taken to the hospital, where she later died. The other woman was not injured.
"She started coughing and having shortness of breath," Lt. John Walker, police spokesman said of Aderotimi. "What we believe happended is that the injector nicked a vein and put the substance into the bloodstream. It goes through your vascular system and lands in the lung and since it's a gel, it will pile up like a rock."
"If that's truly what happened, it's a murder charge," he added.
According to the Federal and Drug Administration, it's illegal to inject silicone into the buttocks, said Walker. While fat transfers and implants by a licensed professional are legal, silicone is not.

If you weren't born with a phat booty don't try to kill yourself to get one. Go to the gym and do some squats. If that doesn't work out just get some butt pads. A phat booty isn't worth your life. Just say NOOOOOOO!
